Nozbe makes me blush behind my screen

What a surprise this morning to see my humble weblog featured on Nozbe’s weblog as an affiliate showcase. I do recommend Nozbe to everyone who is fairly committed to GTD. But I have to be honest, if you’re starting out with GTD it might be a bit overwhelming, all those online tools trying to help you. Nozbe can be of great help though, because it helps you through the whole process of collecting, processing and organizing. No, it doesn’t do the tasks for you. You still have to do that yourself. But for me, it’s a great way to collect my thoughts and tasks and view them in a single system. Another great feature for me is the mobile version and the widget for Netvibes. They work even more intuitive for me than the site itself. And the emailfunctionality is a lifesaver for me. Great feature!
I’ve recommended more applications in the past and yes I would still do so. Backpack, Mindmanager, ThinkingRock. All great in itself. But as you grow more accustomed in your life with GTD, Nozbe is of the key players you should definitely check out.

IMHO, an web app isn’t the better GTD system. I like my stuff in my computer, not dependent on internet connection.

Be sure to check out http://www.vitalist.com as well. It’s even more userfriendly, I think.

Nozbe is hands down the best GTD-tool there is. Vitalist and all those others people seem to favor just don’t cut it. It’s hard to identify projects, next actions and easily work by contexts. Nozbe is just THE best GTD-tool. And people that like their stuff in the computer – well, you don’t move a lot around, do you..?
Great blog btw, will make sure to check back.

This Nozbe has come a long way since I last looked (must be a year or so now…) I’ll make sure to buy through your link, if I do.
However, Thinking Rock has been my tool of choice lately — and has served me well! It can be run from (or just store your data on) a USB drive if one needs portability. The interface is clean and sorting/adapting is a breeze. It is Very GTD.
The developers are very responsive, even with their day jobs. :) A fully updated 2.0 version should be out soon.
BTW, I have no connection to, nor a stake, in TR.
I’m off to check out Nozbe’s speed and printing — I always love your take on GTD related matters…. keep it up!

After coming across your write up on Nozbe, I gave it whirl, and I have to say, I’m extremely impressed. I provided my full complements on their forum here but after going crazy looking at other applications and services for GTD, this one is definitely a keeper!

After three days of testing nozbe.com (I know that is not a lot of time, but I am so impressed!) I want to share my thoughts with you on this web app. First a few advantages: it fits GTD theory and practice tightly; it is easy to use; projects can have tags to sort them quickly when you need it; you can add tasks via Twitter (that’s cool); nicely implemented "next actions" panel – you can quickly concentrate on the most important stuff; widget for Dashboard, and the last but not least – speed!
Cons: Pricing is STEEP, I think, especially for the PRO version; The Page demands you to re-log in every now and again, which is iritating (I noticed that, but am not sure whether anyone else has the same problem)
All in all I recommend this app to you
