iGTD, another kid hits the GTD-block

Just received note on a new GTD-app for the Mac, iGTD. From the looks on the site I am intrigued. I don't own a Mac myself (yet) so where are those Windows-developers with these funky apps? Are they procrastinating?
iGTD comes with a Quicksilver plugin and some nice features like notes with tasks, linking tasks to people in your address-book and a lot of keyboard-tricks. If anyone has had a chance to play around with this, let me know!

Hey Frank, I just found this little app the other day myself. I plan on running through it in the next week or two on my brand new MacBook Pro. I will definitely let you know how it goes.

I want online apps! And Frank, just by a Mac! Do you need an argument? With parallels on board you can test sites and apps on all platforms (windows / mac etc) and yes you only can do that on a mac!

Hi.
Check out Thinking Rock for a pure GTD based app that runs on Java and can run on Mac, Linux or Windows. I have been using it for about a month now and it’s pretty good.

Note that it stores data in an XML file so you can port your tasks BETWEEN a Mac, Windows, etc. on a memory stick.
A new version should be coming out this week, as well.
Cheers.

Michael: Looking forward to your report! I like the current ones you guys are making so this one will be good as well I thinkErwin: I know I know :-) My girlfriend has a Mac but I want one for myself. Just don’t have the budget for it yet
@Greg: Thanks for your input. I actually use Thinkingrock right now. But I found out it gets pretty slow with more than 30-40 projects and lots of actions. And it’s Java based which means (for me!) the user interface is not that intuitive and easy to handle with a keyboard. I am curious about the new version and will check it out!

Looked good for the first 2-3 days, then the latest version chewed up half of my iCal Calendars and changed thousands of completed todos to uncompleted. Needs a little while longer in the oven does this roast.

I have been using iGTD for about a week and a half, and I love it. It syncs beautifully with all of my mac apps.
I get an email, that I send to ical via MailTags, then iGTD has it in the proper context and project, with a link to the email.
And, it’s quicksilver plugin makes it possible to record and forget random thoughts for later processing a snap… a couple of key strokes, and I’m done.
This is by far the best GTD app on the market.
